This Privacy Policy describes how Kiraya ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our web application and Android app (together, the "Service"). By using Kiraya you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to provide the Service:

• Account information — your email address when you sign up or log in.
• Property and tenant data — property addresses, tenant names, contact details, rent amounts, and payment records that you enter into the app.
• Billing information — subscription plan and payment status. Card details are handled entirely by Razorpay and are never stored on our servers.
• Usage data — basic logs (page visits, errors) to help us diagnose problems. No behavioural tracking or advertising analytics.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the Service (storing your properties, tenants, and payment records).
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To process subscription payments via Razorpay.
• To send transactional emails (sign-in links, payment receipts) — no marketing emails without your consent.
• To debug errors and improve the Service.

3. Data Storage and Security

All data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS in Singapore). Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). Access is restricted via row-level security policies — each user can only read and write their own data.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

• Supabase — database and authentication (supabase.com/privacy).
• Razorpay — payment processing (razorpay.com/privacy). Razorpay is PCI-DSS compliant. We never receive or store your full card number.
• Vercel / Netlify — web hosting. Standard server access logs are retained per their respective policies.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data (properties, tenants, payment records) is permanently deleted within 30 days.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
• Export your data in a portable format.

7. Children's Privacy

Kiraya is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
